Toon in training: Wembley awaits

This weekend, Newcastle United return to Wembley for their first cup final in 24 years.

The Magpies face Manchester United in the Carabao Cup final under the arch on Sunday, with a first trophy in almost 68 years - and European football - the reward should they beat Erik ten Hag's men.

Head coach Eddie Howe and his side were working hard in their new limited edition training wear on Wednesday morning with just four days to go until United head to the capital.

Among those in action at Newcastle's Benton training centre were goalkeepers Loris Karius and Mark Gillespie, who will compete for a starting spot in the final with Nick Pope suspended and Martin Dúbravka cup-tied.

Club photographer Serena Taylor brought nufc.co.uk this gallery from the Magpies' camp.
