Team news: One change for Magpies against PSG

Eddie Howe has made one change to his in-form Newcastle United side for Wednesday night's eagerly-anticipated Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain (8pm kick-off).

The Magpies are set for their first home game in the competition in 20 years and go into the game hoping to extend their five-match unbeaten run, which has seen them secure clean sheets in all of those games.

But it is in midfield where head coach Eddie Howe has opted to make his alteration, with Sandro Tonali coming into the starting 11 in place of Elliot Anderson.

That means the rest of the United team remains unchanged, with Nick Pope in goal behind a back four of Kieran Trippier, Fabian Schär, Jamaal Lascelles and Dan Burn.

Tonali lines up in the middle of the park alongside Bruno Guimarães and Sean Longstaff, with Miguel Almirón and Anthony Gordon aiming to continue their encouraging recent form on the flanks and Alexander Isak in attack.

Anderson is named on the substitutes, along with Jacob Murphy, Lewis Miley, Matt Targett and Lewis Hall.

Tino Livramento and Paul Dummett are also on the bench and two goalkeepers - Martin Dúbravka and Loris Karius - are named too.
