Rondón shortlisted for Goal of the Month
Newcastle United forward Salomón Rondón’s second goal in their victory over AFC Bournemouth has been shortlisted for November’s Carling Goal of the Month.
Rondón’s thumping header from Kenedy’s cross gave the Magpies a 2-0 lead in the clash at St. James’ Park on Saturday, 10th November, which they went on to win 2-1.
And the Venezuelan international’s goal is one of eight Premier League goals to be nominated for Goal of the Month, with Richarlison (Everton), Ilkay Gundogan, Leroy Sane (Manchester City), Stuart Armstrong (Southampton), Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool), Son Heung-min (Tottenham Hotspur) and Junior Hoilett (Cardiff City) also on the shortlist.
