Toon in training: Bourne to run

Newcastle United will be looking to pick up back-to-back victories for the first time this season when they take on AFC Bournemouth at St. James’ Park on Saturday.

The Magpies ran out deserved 3-2 winners against West Ham United at the London Stadium a week ago, with Ciaran Clark, Federico Fernández and Jonjo Shelvey on target.

Those three were among the group who trained at the club’s Benton base on Friday morning, as was Florian Lejeune, though Saturday’s clash will come too early for the defender – who has still to figure in a first-team game this term.

Also figuring in Serena Taylor’s gallery for nufc.co.uk is Sean Longstaff, though the midfielder will sit out tomorrow’s game through suspension.
