Carver and Stone produce work of art for Diamond Art Exhibition

Newcastle United Assistant Manager John Carver and First Team Coach Steve Stone took time out of their busy schedule to visit the Percy Hedley Centre in North Shields on Thursday afternoon.

The United duo visited the Linskill site to produce a work of art in the Rob Luke i-MUSE studio for Percy Hedley's Diamonds for our Diamond art exhibition to close their year long Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

The Centre's users ,staff and local tv,radio presenters, sports stars, actors and musicians have also taken part in this exciting project.

i-MUSE is multi-sensory experience that can be used to create music, art, aid relaxation and improve communication. By using a soundbeam, microphones, and vibroacoustics an individual can express themselves through movement, vocalisation or just listen to relaxation music and savour the experience.

Ian Moore (pictured), i-MUSE Co-ordinator from Percy Hedley said: "we aim to promote 'Achievement for all' and as such this exhibition contains artwork that has been produced by our service user's, our staff and local celebrities all using the same equipment . The results are truly amazing.

John Carver added: "Steve and myself really enjoyed ourselves at the Percy Hedley Centre. It's incredible what technology can do these days and we were delighted to support their Diamond Jubilee celebrations."
