Ticket Alert - QPR Away On Sale

Written by Newcastle Utd

Tickets for United's Championship away game at QPR are on sale to season ticket holders

By Anthony Marshall - Newcastle United Managing Editor

Tickets for Newcastle United's Sky Bet Championship away game at Queens Park Rangers are now on sale to season ticket holders with 50 or more loyalty points.

On Tuesday, 13th September (7.45pm kick-off), Rafa Benitez's Magpies travel to Loftus Road to face a Rangers side managed by Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink and with ex-United man James Perch in their ranks.

Season ticket holders with 50 or more loyalty points can now secure their seat. The points threshold will drop to 25 points on Thursday (18th August) and from Monday (22nd August) all season ticket holders can purchase tickets.

Subject to availability, tickets will go on sale to Members on Tuesday, 30th August.

Newcastle have been given an allocation of around 1,800 seats for the game.

Seats in the away end at Loftus Road are either classed as gold or silver with the prices as follows: Adults - £34 (gold) £29 (silver); Over-60s/16-21s - £24 (gold) £20 (silver); Under-16s - £17 (gold) £14 (silver).

Children under the age of eight, who are accompanied by an adult, can get in for free in the silver seats.

Around 550 seats in United's allocation are marked as 'Restricted View' and so carry a slightly reduced price. 'Restricted View' means there is a stanchion in view of one of the goals.

Any supporter purchasing a restricted view ticket is accepting the view that accompanies it and no refunds are possible once the match has kicked-off.

Fans who wish to travel to this fixture are advised to apply for tickets as early as possible so that the Club can work with Queens Park Rangers to service demand.

Supporters who buy concessionary tickets are advised that they should carry ID with them at the match. Any supporter purchasing at the incorrect age band risks non entry on matchday as upgrading at the visiting club is not necessarily permitted on the day.

Age bands away from home vary on a game-by-game basis and do not necessarily mirror your age band held at Newcastle United. It is essential that the correct age band is selected at the time of purchase to prevent any disappointment on the day at the visiting club.

As with last season, in order to be sure of sitting together season ticket holders and Members must be registered in an away travel group before purchasing tickets (maximum of ten persons per one group).
