SECOND HALF UPDATES

90+3mins: The Magpies have won their 100th away game in the Premier League and in the process beaten Hull for the first time in the top flight. Alan Pardew's side were superb, with every player performing well, and they rightly milk the applause of the packed Newcastle section at the KC Stadium. 90+2mins - NEWCASTLE UNITED GOAL (1-4): It's four! Gosling makes a strong run into the box but then slips; however, Dummett is lurking to fizz in a low cross-shot which falls perfectly for Anita to tap home his first goal of the campaign - and he really has deserved that for his display.

90+1mins: Huddlestone's corner from the left is met by Chester but Krul makes another outstanding save to go with his double-stop in the first half.

90mins: United's first substitution sees the hard-working De Jong replaced by Dan Gosling as the Magpies attack through Remy on the left; his shot is deflected and McGregor is pleased to punch it behind for corner which Newcastle play short. There will be three minutes of added time.

86mins: A final change for Hull sees Davies replaced by James Chester.

81mins: Controversy as De Jong wins the ball from Meyler in midfield and slides the ball into the path of Remy, who goes through on goal but then seems to be tripped by Davies but referee Friend takes no action; he'd have had to send the defender off if he'd given a free kick as he was the last man. Moments later, however, Huddlestone is booked for a seperate foul.

80mins: Dummett pings in a free kick from the right and Williamson comes in at the far post but heads wide.

74mins: Huddlestone's corner is half cleared and Koren returns it with interest towards goal, but Anita makes an important block.

73mins: David Meyler is booked and Alan Pardew is sent to the stands after the pair come together on the touchline. Gouffran and Meyler were battling for the ball when Meyler ran into Pardew, who reacted angrily to spark something of a melee.

71mins: Another good flag-kick delvery from Dummett finds its way to Gouffran, who gets in a shot on the turn which Bruce hacks off the line.

70mins: McGregor makes amends for his part in United's third with a fine tip over the bar to deny Remy, who had sent a stinging shot towards goal after a De Jong knock-down.

63mins: Remy fires well over after another swift Magpies break.

62mins: Steve Bruce makes a double substitution as Robert Koren and Sone Aluko replace Figueroa and Jake Livermore.

61mins: Dummett wins a corner on the left and then the youngster drives in a wonderful corner which Debuchy meets on the volley and De Jong diverts inches wide.

55mins - NEWCASTLE UNITED GOAL (1-3): Sissoko gets his second of the afternoon - but Hull City have shot themselves in the foot again. Gouffran was harshly penalised for a supposed high foot inside the Hull half, and the Tigers sent their big men forward for the free kick. However, rather than pump it into the box they opted to play it short and Anita was able to regain possession for the Magpies. Tiote then drove on and found Gouffran, who wriggled into space and cracked in a decent shot. Even then, McGregor should probably have held it but could only parry it towards Sissoko, who made no mistake with his finish in front of the 2,500 away fans. 

53mins: Jelavic is booked for charging down a kick from Krul with his arm.

47mins - HULL CITY GOAL (1-2): Within a minute of the restart, Hull win a free kick, Huddlestone floats it over from the left and Curtis Davies beats Krul to the punch to force a header over the line. United looked so comfortable at 2-0 but now there's only one goal in it.

46mins: Newcastle get the second period underway, with no changes from either manager.

FIRST HALF UPDATES

45+2mins: Newcastle lead 2-0 at the break and it's been a very good away performance from the Magpies. Essentially, they've hit the Tigers on the break twice; first when Krul's amazing double-save stunned the Tigers and Sissoko swept home seconds later, then when Remy took advantage of Figueroa's weak backpass. 45mins: There will be two minutes of stoppage time.

42mins - NEWCASTLE UNITED GOAL (0-2): Out of nothing, Newcastle make it two. Figueroa plays an awful, underhit backpass towards Allan McGregor, who comes rushing out to try and clear. Alas, he isn't as quick as Remy and the striker deftly touches the ball away from the keeper before slotting into the empty net for his 13th of the season. It's a lucky 13 for him but very unlucky for Hull and Figueroa in particular. What a great time to score, too.

41mins: Now Long half-volleys well off target from nearly 40 yards out; the Irishman has been a threat today but that was ridiculously over-ambitious.

40mins: Long twists and turns out on the left, eventually making room against Williamson to whip in a great cross. Elmohamady, arriving at the far post, gets his head to it but glances just wide when he probably should have equalised.

36mins: Jelavic's free kick hits De Jong in the wall and crashes against the top of the bar - Krul was helpless on that occasion but the deflection might just have been what took it away from the target.

35mins: Long's clever turn 25 yards from goal leaves Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa with little option but to haul the striker down and that earns the United man a yellow card.

30mins: Vurnon Anita wins a free kick in a dangerous area after a good run was ended on the edge of the box but Remy's low shot hits the wall.

29mins: Tiote is the first player booked after Kevin Friend takes action for a foul on Elmohamady.

27mins: The Tigers come close as Ahmed Elmohamady, the former Sunderland man, whips over a perfect cross and Nikica Jelevic heads narrowly wide from eight yards out. Some of the home supporters thought it was in - that's how close it was.

23mins: Maynor Figueroa delivers from the left and Long gets in a looping header, but it's easily gathered by Krul. The game has gone somewhat flat since that amazing few seconds which saw Hull almost score and then Newcastle go in front, but that'll suit Alan Pardew's side just fine.

22mins: Dummett delivers a decent free kick from the right which Remy heads back across goal, but a foul is given against De Jong as he challenges for the ball.

11mins: The home side seek an instant response but Shane Long heads over from a Hull corner as everybody inside the KC Stadium begins to get their breath back after a thrilling last couple of minutes.

10mins - NEWCASTLE UNITED GOAL (0-1): And the Magpies go straight upfield and take the lead! Remy finds Mathieu Debuchy on the right and the full-back cuts the ball back perfectly for Moussa Sissoko, who strokes home without breaking stride. Krul joins in with the celebrations - his double save moments earlier made that possible.

9mins: What a double save from Tim Krul. From Tom Huddlestone's left-wing free-kick, Alex Bruce gets up highest and sends a thumping header towards goal. Somehow, the Dutch keeper keeps it out from point blank range but the striker looks certain to gobble up the rebound. Amazingly, Krul blocks that too and manages to grab the ball.

4mins: Hull fail to properly clear their lines after Paul Dummett's free-kick is headed down by Mike Williamson and after the big defender - still looking for his first Newcastle goal - and Cheick Tiote both have shots blocked, the ball falls kindly for Yoan Gouffran whose blistering strike from the edge of the box whistles just off target.

1min: The home team get the match started against a Magpies side wearing their yellow change kit. Alan Pardew has gone for a 4-4-1-1 formation with Luuk de Jong just behind main striker Loic Remy and, while the sky above the KC Stadium is bright, there's a real chill in the air.
