Yannick Touré

The Magpies saw off competition from a string of other clubs to land frontman Yannick Touré, who arrived on Tyneside from Swiss outfit Young Boys.

Yannick joined United's Academy in August at the age of 17 and netted seven times in 25 appearances for Newcastle's second-string last term.

The Senegalese-born forward has represented Switzerland at Under-17 and Under-20 level - scoring twice on his debut whilst making his full debut against Austria in June 2019.

Yannick identifies former World Footballer of the Year, Ronaldinho, as his footballing idol.
