Stefan Broccoli

Peterborough-born Stefan joined Newcastle United in 2014 after impressing on trial

The diminutive central midfielder, who can also play at full back, made his first outing for United’s Under-18s against Norwich in April of that year, and capped his performance with a goal.

Formerly of Arsenal, Stefan – who is half Italian – stepped up to what was then the Under-21s for their Northumberland Senior Cup clash with Team Northumbria in November 2014, coming on as a substitute before finding the net.

A good passer of the ball, he is assured in possession and strong in the tackle.
