Rosaire Longelo

Rosaire - who primarily plays as a left winger - joined Newcastle's Academy after impressing on a trial last term against Middlesbrough.

Rosaire, who joined United's Academy from West Ham last term, made 28 appearances during his first season for Newcastle's second string.

He netted his first goal for the young Magpies in a 2-1 win against Norwich City in December 2018 before scoring a last minute winner in a 3-2 triumph over Sunderland back in January 2019 as the young Magpies came from two goals down. 

Born in DR Congo, the 21-year-old was part of the United team which retained the Hong Kong Soccer Sevens title after beating Rangers in the 2019 final.  

Rosaire identifies Barcelona and five-time Ballon D'Or winner, Lionel Messi, as his footballing idol.
