Oisin - who plays as a defender - scored on his debut for United's second-string in a 4-2 victory against West Bromwich Albion.

Oisin - who plays as a centre-back - captained Newcastle's Under-18 squad before making five appearances for the Under-23 outfit.

The teenager has represented Republic of Ireland at Under-17 level; participating in the European Under-17 Championship quarter-final against the Netherlands, taking over in goal when Jimmy Corcoran was controversially shown a second yellow card when he was deemed to have stepped off his line in saving a penalty.

He also helped United to reach the semi-finals of the SuperCupNI in 2017 and played in United's road to the FA Youth Cup quarter-finals the same season.
