Luke Charman

Luke is a strong, athletic forward who is now a regular in the Newcastle United Under-23s side.

Hailing from Sherburn Village in Durham, Luke attended Belmont Community School, and it wasn’t until April 2014 that the youngster made his first appearance for the Under-18 team in a fixture away at Arsenal.

Having moved up into Peter Beardsley’s Under-23 side, he bagged his first goal at that level in a 2-2 friendly draw with FC Edmonton before netting his first competitive strike for the second string against Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium in April 2016.
