Jamie Holmes

A pacey winger, Jamie joined Newcastle United in the 2010-11 season, having previously played for Newcastle East End.

He made his Under-18 debut against Arsenal in August 2014 before making his bow for what was then the Under-21s in a Northumberland Senior Cup tie against Morpeth the following February.

In April 2015, he hit a 20-minute hat-trick for the Under-18s in a 6-0 victory over Arsenal.

Another of the players to have made the jump from the Under-18s to the Under-23s, Jamie – who comes from Walkergate – can cause plenty of problems from out wide with his speed and trickery, and has already amassed plenty of experience at second string level, despite his relative lack of years.
