Dan Ward

Dan is a box-to-box midfielder from Boldon, he is most at home in the centre of the park

Formerly of South Shields and Seaham Red Star, Dan only joined United in 2014, when he enjoyed a successful trial spell before putting pen to paper on a scholarship with the club.

He made his bow for the Under-18s against Arsenal in April of that year, and a debut for the Under-21s followed in a Northumberland Senior Cup tie against Team Northumbria in November 2014.

Dan grabbed his first goal against Middlesbrough in January 2015, and is continuing to develop under the tutelage of Peter Beardsley and Ben Dawson in the Under-23s.
