Adam Wilson

Position:
Forward

Equally adept on the wing or up front, Adam made his debut for Peter Beardsley’s second-string in October’s 5-1 Central League Cup rout of Hartlepool United.

He first trained with the Academy in 2010, and made two starts for the under-18s last term before putting pen to paper on a two-year scholarship.

Adam – who has represented England at Under-18 level – previously turned out for Newcastle City Juniors as a schoolboy.

A fan of Thierry Henry and Lionel Messi, Adam is a creative and skilful player who was part of the team that won the under-15 Montereau Confluences Tournament in France in April 2017.

The winger made his under-23s debut against Hartlepool at the age of 16 before making his England under-18 debut on 21 March 2018 in a 4-0 win over Qatar at St. George's Park.
