Brooke Cochrane

Position:
Defender

Captain of Newcastle United Women

Like her teammate, full back Brooke carved out her career with Blyth Town from the age of 10. Four years of hard work on the pitch saw her graduate to the Newcastle Centre of Excellence for a stint in black and white as part of the development team.

Brooke saw out five seasons at Whitley Bay before heading back to Newcastle United Women where she was named captain, which Brooke describes as a “massive honour”. The skipper’s day job, however, sees her working at Sunderland University and if she’s not in the office at playing football, she’s out coaching Burradon Girls.
