Young Magpies host Derby in Premier League Cup quarter-final

Newcastle United Under-23s have been handed a home draw against Derby County in the quarter-finals of the Premier League Cup.
Ben Dawson's side sealed their spot in the last eight courtesy of a 2-1 victory against Reading, with United's Jamie Sterry and Tom Allan both finding the target in their last 16 tie at Woking's Kingfield Stadium.
United's reward is a home encounter against the Rams, who currently lie in third place of Division One in Premier League 2 - one tier above Newcastle's youngsters.
The cup clash is set to be played between Friday, 29th March and Monday, 1st April as the young Magpies aim to reach the semi-finals of the competition for the first time.
