Young Magpies' Boro clash postponed

Monday night’s Premier League 2 Division Two fixture between Newcastle United Under-23s and Middlesbrough Under-23s has been postponed.
United’s second string were due to take on Boro at Whitley Park, but freezing conditions have made the playing surface at the Benton venue unplayable and, following a pitch inspection, the game has been called off.
A rearranged date for the match will be announced in due course.
