Wilson plays in England draw

Newcastle's Adam Wilson featured for England under-18s as they opened their Panda Cup campaign with a 2-2 draw with Uruguay on Wednesday.
The Ashington-born winger appeared as an 84th minute substitute in Chengdu, China, replacing Crystal Palace's Nya Kirby.
Thiago Vecino put the South Americans ahead on the quarter-hour mark, but Kirby levelled from the penalty spot on 63 minutes after Danny Loader was felled inside the box.
Manchester City's Felix Nmecha nudged the Young Lions in front but Nicolas Schiappacasse equalised late on.

Former Newcastle City Juniors player Wilson made his international debut last month, in a 4-0 win over Qatar at St. George's Park, and also played in a 2-1 victory against Belarus before winning his third cap on Wednesday.
