Wilson all the rage for visit to Foxes

Callum Wilson is the man dominating the goals markets ahead of Sunday's Premier League visit to Leicester City.

The travelling Toon Army faithful will be going into this one buoyed by the victory over Burnley and they can draw more confidence from a strong recent record at the King Power Stadium, which has proved a rich source of points for Newcastle United in recent visits.

Three victories in four away matches at Leicester may be responsible for the slight cut into 7/2 from 4/1 on an away win this weekend and Wilson is being well-backed to provide the threat in front of goal that could make it six points from six for the Magpies at the start of December.

He struck twice on the last trip to Leicester in May en route to a 4-2 win, meaning he now has three career goals against the Foxes, and he's already been backed down to 11/8 from 6/4 to add to that by finding the net again.

That would make it three consecutive games featuring a Wilson goal after he took his tally for the season to six with goals in his last two outings against Norwich and Burnley. Both of those goals were the first of the game and he is a 9/2 favourite amongst the visitors to break the deadlock for the third match in a row.

Wilson fired three shots against Burnley last time out and the more confident punters can snap up 7/1 with BoyleSports that he scores two as he did on his last visit here, while the 18/1 about a goal in the first ten minutes for the number nine is even proving popular with supporters who are clearly optimistic that Eddie Howe's men can strike early and breach a Leicester defence that is now without a clean sheet in 15 straight matches in all competitions.
