Which United players have received international call-ups?

A number of Newcastle United players have been selected to represent their respective countries during the international break in October.

Martin Dúbravka has been selected by Slovakia ahead of their important Euro 2020 qualifier against Wales in Trvana on Thursday, 10th October, with the Falcons searching for automatic qualification from Group E.

The goalkeeper could then go head-to-head against United team mate Miguel Almirón as Slovakia host Paraguay in Bratislava on Sunday, 13th October, with the forward named in La Albirroja's 23-man squad.

Paraguay will take on Serbia in Krusevac on Thursday, 10th October in their first of two international friendlies before competing in the Slovakian capital three days later.

Centre-back Fabian Schär is included in Switzerland's squad for their two Euro 2020 Group D qualifiers as the Red Crosses face Denmark in Copenhagen on Saturday, 12th October (kick-off 5pm BST) before hosting Republic of Ireland in Geneva on Tuesday, 15th October (kick-off 7.45pm BST).

Defender Emil Krafth has been named in Sweden's squad ahead of their Euro 2020 qualifying double bill, with the Blue and Yellow facing an away clash against Malta in Ta'Qali on Saturday, 12th October (kick-off 7.45pm BST) before hosting two-time European champions Spain in Solna on Tuesday, 15th October (kick-off 7.45pm BST).

DeAndre Yedlin could earn his 60th international cap for United States in the first of two CONCACAF Nations League Group A qualifiers for the Stars and Stripes, who host Cuba on Friday, 11th October before facing an away clash against Canada in Toronto on Tuesday, 15th October.

Midfielder Christian Atsu is a provisional for Ghana's African Nations Championship second round qualifier against Burkina Faso while Mo Sangare has also been named in Liberia's national team ahead of the Lone Star's African Cup of Nations preliminary round against Chad, with the winner of the tie advancing into the qualification group stages of the 2021 tournament.
