United begin Premier League Cup campaign against Clarets

Newcastle United's under-23s turn their attention to the Premier League Cup on Friday, when they entertain Burnley at 1pm.
Peter Beardsley's side were beaten 1-0 by Wolves at St. James' Park on Monday evening in Premier League 2.
Dwight Gayle started up front that night, with Henri Saivet and Rolando Aarons in midfield, but the trio are now in contention for Sunday's Premier League game against Liverpool.
However, right-back Jamie Sterry is likely to feature again for the second-string, while further first team experience will come in the shape of Daniel Barlaser and Yasin Ben El-Mhanni.
Admission at Whitley Park in Benton is free for season ticket holders and members, otherwise it's £3 for adults and £1 concessions.
