U23s fixture switched to training ground
Newcastle United Under-23s’ fixture against AFC Bournemouth on Friday has been switched to the Magpies’ Training Centre due to inclement weather.
The Premier League Cup tie was originally set to take place at Whitley Park in Benton but has been moved due to a waterlogged pitch.
Kick-off remains at 1pm (GMT) and will go ahead subject to a pitch inspection by match officials.
Supporters are advised that public access is permitted; however there will be no covered stands and no refreshments available.
The Newcastle United Training Centre is next door to the original venue (postcode NE12 9SF).
