Two November fixture changes for Magpies
Two of Newcastle United’s Premier League fixtures in November have been rescheduled after being selected for live television coverage.
The Magpies’ trip to Southampton, which was initially set to be played on Saturday, 7th November at 3pm, has been brought forward to Friday, 6th November, with kick-off now set for 8pm.
That clash with the Saints will be shown live on Sky Sports.
And United’s home game against Chelsea, which had been due to be played on Saturday, 21st November at 3pm, has a new kick-off time.
Frank Lampard’s side will now take on Steve Bruce’s men at 12:30pm, with the date of the fixture remaining the same. That contest will be broadcast live on BT Sport.
Any further alterations to the Magpies’ fixture schedule will be announced in due course.
