Three fixtures selected for TV coverage

Written by Tom Easterby

Three more of Newcastle United’s Premier League fixtures have been selected for live television coverage.

United’s trips to Southampton and Burnley in October, as well as the away game against Manchester United in November, will all be broadcast live and have been rescheduled.

The Magpies’ game against Saints at St. Mary’s Stadium was originally scheduled for Saturday, 14th October at 3pm, but will now take place a day later, on Sunday, 15th October with kick-off set for 4pm. That fixture will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Rafa Benítez’s side’s trip to Turf Moor to take on Sean Dyche’s Clarets – which was initially due to take place on Saturday, 28th October at 3pm – has been put back to Monday, 30th October, and will now kick-off at 8pm in front of the Sky Sports cameras.

And the trip to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United had been set for Saturday, 18th November at 3pm, but that game will now kick-off at 5.30pm on the same day and be shown live on BT Sport.
