Terriers trip to be televised

Written by Dan King

Newcastle's Sky Bet Championship game at Huddersfield Town will be shown live on Sky Sports.

The Magpies travel to the John Smith's Stadium on Saturday, 4th March, and with both sides flying high in the table the fixture has caught the eye of schedulers.

As a result, kick-off has changed from 3pm to 5.30pm.

United lost 2-1 to the Terriers at St. James' Park in August so will hope for a better result in front of the cameras.

The fixture has been announced in line with the EFL’s joint commitment with broadcast partner Sky to ensure all clubs and supporters are given a minimum of five weeks’ notice ahead of any matches being rescheduled for live television coverage.

That is designed to provide supporters with as much time as possible to allow for any alterations to travel plans that may be required.
