Team news: Dúbravka, Schär and Sørensen all start

Martin Dúbravka, Fabian Schär and Elias Sørensen are among those to start for Newcastle United as the Magpies face West Ham United in the Premier League Asia Trophy.

Dúbravka returns to the squad after the Slovakian goalkeeper was not named in United's squad in Wednesday's defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Schär was an unused substitute against Wolves and is joined by Jamie Sterry, Jamaal Lascelles, Ciaran Clark and Matt Ritchie at the back to face the Hammers. 

Sørensen, who made his debut for the Magpies on Wednesday, is handed his first senior start for United and will lead the front line along with forward Yoshinori Muto. Jonjo Shelvey, Issac Hayden and Jack Colback will be deployed in the middle of the park.

The long list of substitutes includes Sean Longstaff, Federico Fernández and Jacob Murphy as well as youngsters Tom Allan, Owen Bailey, Kelland Watts and Longstaff's younger brother, Matty, who all made their first-team debuts against Wolves.

Paul Dummett, Dwight Gayle and Nathan Harker have not been named in the United squad.
