Jack Colback makes his first start for over a month as Newcastle United entertain Sheffield Wednesday at St. James’ Park.
Colback replaces the suspended Jonjo Shelvey in midfield, one of three changes Rafa Benitez makes to the United side who overcame Burton Albion nine days ago.
Dutchman Vurnon Anita – an unused substitute at the Pirelli Stadium – replaces DeAndre Yedlin at right-back, the American dropping to the bench.
The Magpies’ final change sees Yoan Gouffran come in for Christian Atsu, the Frenchman set to start on the left flank against Carlos Carvalhal’s Owls.
Mohamed Diame, meanwhile, continues his run in the side, deployed just behind leading scorer Dwight Gayle.
