Spurs clash sold out
Newcastle United’s opening Premier League fixture of the season against Tottenham Hotspur has sold out more than a week before the game.
The Magpies host Spurs on Sunday 13 August (kick-off 1:30pm BST) and will be looking to build on their positive run of results against Mauricio Pochettino’s side, who lost 5-1 on their last visit to Tyneside in May 2016.
More than 52,000 fans will pack out St. James’ Park for next Sunday’s match, including almost 40,000 season ticket holders.
The game is also live on Sky Sports and will be broadcast around the world via the Premier League’s respective rights holders.
