Souvenir programme available for Wednesday's big game

Don’t miss out on a piece of Newcastle United history on Wednesday night: make sure you pick up a copy of UNITED, the Magpies’ official matchday programme, as UEFA Champions League football returns to St. James’ Park for the first time in over 20 years.

An 84-page issue has been put together for the occasion, boasting more than 75 pages of content and, as always, costing just £3.50. Among a number of features inside, there’s…

  • An exclusive, eight-page interview with in-form midfielder Sean Longstaff.
  • The pre-match thoughts of Eddie Howe and Kieran Trippier.
  • Fourteen pages dedicated to Paris Saint-Germain, including a forensic tactical breakdown from guest writer Adam Scully.
  • A further six pages looking at PSG’s formation – the second of two “long reads” inside the programme.
  • Nostalgia in abundance, with a particular focus on some of the Magpies’ past meetings with French opposition, from regular UNITED contributors Paul Joannou and Stan Gate.
  • Columns from Pete Graves and Simon Rushworth, with the latter – The Journal’s former chief sports writer – looking back at his time covering the Magpies’ European ventures under Sir Bobby Robson.
  • A round-up of what went on in the 2023/24 UEFA Champions League’s opening matchweek, with each and every game reviewed.
  • Updates from United’s academy and women’s side.
  • All the reaction from a superb week for the Magpies leading up to PSG’s visit, which saw Howe’s side record three wins, 11 goals and three clean sheets.
  • The latest instalments of Mags Around The World and One Of A Kind.

…all of that, plus much more.

UNITED will be available to buy around the ground.
