Schär stars in Swiss success

Fabian Schär helped Switzerland pick up three UEFA Nations League points against Iceland on Monday evening.
The defender played the full game in Reykjavik as the Swiss kept their hopes of qualifying for the semi-finals alive. They went level with League A Group Two leaders Belgium with their hard-fought victory.
However Iceland, who have lost all three of their group games, are certain to finish bottom and will be relegated.
Haris Seferovic and Michael Lang scored for the visitors before Alfred Finnbogason pulled one back for the home side. Schär was booked and will now miss his country's group decider against Belgium next month.
