Reds clash sold out

Written by Rory Mitchinson

Tickets for Newcastle United’s Premier League game against Liverpool on Sunday, 1st October have sold out.

The Magpies rose to fourth in the table after beating Stoke City at St. James’ Park on Saturday, leapfrogging Jürgen Klopp’s Reds, who drew 1-1 at home to Burnley.

Clashes between Newcastle and Liverpool rarely fail to entertain. Indeed, in the Premier League era, there has never been a 0-0 draw between the two sides.

The game – which will be shown live on Sky Sports – gets underway at 4.30pm, and will be United’s last before the next international break.
