Premier League to host Nashville Weekend Warm Up with Whiskey Jam

The Premier League and NBC Sports are bringing soccer fans in Nashville, Tennessee, a live music event on Friday, 5th April ahead of the Mornings Live Fan Fest across 6th-7th April on Broadway.

Newcastle United are taking part in a number of supporter events over the weekend, with club legend Rob Lee heading to Tennessee as part of the two-day fan festival as well as taking part in an exclusive supporter meet and greet session which will include a Q&A and prizes.

The informal get-together will follow the live screening of the Fulham game on Saturday, 6th April and takes place nearby to the Premier League Mornings Live site, at the Hard Rock Café. Fans wishing to attend are able to register here.

The Premier League Mornings Live event, on Broadway and at Riverfront Park, Nashville, will see former England international Lee take part in a number of supporter activations, where he will be joined by club icon Alan Shearer, who will be present in his role as Premier League Ambassador.

Before that, the Premier League Weekend Warm Up with Whiskey Jam will see eight music artists take part in a free show at the SkyDeck, Nashville's largest and highest rooftop bar on Broadway. Doors will open at 6pm and the event will kick off at 7:15pm.

The Weekend Warm Up is the first live music event created by the Premier League and is an opportunity for soccer fans attending the weekend's free Fan Festival to kick off their weekend in true Nashville style.

Hosted by Whiskey Jam Founder, Ward Guenther, the Weekend Warm Up will be the first Friday evening event that Whiskey Jam have run in their 13-year history and will be an unmissable experience for fans who will be able to enjoy short sets from a range of American, British and Australian artists.

NBC Sports presenter and country music fan Rebecca Lowe will welcome guests to the event, before a stellar line-up of Lucie Silvas, Bizzy, Sam Palladio, Alex Lambert, Ruthie Collins, Seaforth, Jordan Harvey and Nightly take to the stage.

Premier League Chief Commercial Officer Will Brass said: "The Weekend Warm Up is the newest way the Premier League is engaging with fans in the US.

"This is an exciting addition to the activity we have planned around our Premier League Mornings Live event in Nashville, bringing the worlds of soccer and music together ahead of the weekend's matches getting under way.

"We are delighted to be working with Whiskey Jam, Sky Deck and the eight artists playing the Weekend Warm Up and I'm sure everyone who attends will have a great night."

The event is free and open to anyone over the age of 21. Doors will open from 6pm and fans are encouraged to arrive early to gain entry. A queuing system will be in operation outside the venue.
