Order United's final matchday programme of the season now

Supporters return to St. James' Park for the first time in more than a year on Wednesday night when Sheffield United are the visitors, and you can now order your copy of UNITED - the Magpies' award-winning matchday programme - in time for the match.

Packed with 84 pages of exclusive interviews and features, plus regular columns from head coach Steve Bruce and captain Jamaal Lascelles, the programme for the Blades game is the perfect souvenir for those attending (and essential reading for those not) and is on sale now, available here, priced at £3.50 plus postage (£5.25 inclusive).

Each programme is produced with a limited print run only, in conjunction with the club's programme partners Curtis Sport on a schedule that allows them to arrive before kick-off*, and you can buy your copy now.

Overseas supporters are also able to order copies but these will attract increased postage charges and delivery will not be guaranteed before matchday. Subscriptions covering the whole season - priced at £95 including postage - are available here and include backdated issues from this season.

Jonjo Shelvey, the Magpies' stand-in skipper who always has plenty to say, is the subject of an exclusive feature length interview, while Matt Ritchie answers supporters' questions in the last ever instalment of Zoom Army.

We round off our Lost Grounds series with a look at Saltergate, the former home of our opponents' near neighbours Chesterfield, while former United left back and winger Ron Guthrie, whose little brother Chris turned out for the Blades, chats to us in our final Guest Appearance of the season.

Club Historian Paul Joannou remembers the amazing Tyneside summer of '96 - when the European Championships came to St. James' Park and the Magpies broke the world transfer record to bring Alan Shearer home - and Stan Gate provides a dose of nostalgia and an end-of-season update for collectors in The Wonderful World of Football Programmes.

We also find out a little bit more about Academy prospect Michael Ndiweni, who has been in fine form for the Magpies' under-18s lately, and reveal Newcastle United's 2020/21 player of the season. All that, and more, is available to order here.

Due to the Covid-19 guidelines issued to clubs, programmes are not available to buy around the ground on a matchday - even with some fans returning for this match - and can only be purchased online. A limited number of programmes from the Magpies' home league and cup games so far this season are available online here.

* We will make every effort to get your programme to you in time for each game. We cannot, however, guarantee delivery by matchday due to the Covid-19 pandemic and Royal Mail scheduling.
