New date set for Under-23s' PSV clash

A new date has been set for Newcastle United Under-23s’ Premier League International Cup fixture against PSV Eindhoven.
The Group A tie was originally due to be played on Tuesday, 12th December, but was postponed due to the Dutch side’s league commitments.
But the game has now been rearranged, and will now be played on Wednesday, 24th January, with kick-off set for 7pm at Whitley Park.
Peter Beardsley’s side have won one and lost one in the group stage so far, having beaten Sparta Prague at home and lost away at Liverpool.
As the Magpies go into their final group game against PSV, all four teams in Group A are level on three points, with qualification for the quarter-finals still to play for.
