New date set for September's visit of Leeds
Newcastle United’s Premier League game at home to Leeds United in September has a new date, after being selected for live television coverage.
The Magpies will now welcome Marcelo Bielsa’s men to St. James’ Park on Friday, 17th September, with kick-off set for 8pm.
The game had initially been scheduled for Saturday, 18th September at 3pm but, with the match now due to be broadcast live on Sky Sports, it has been brought forward.
The visit of Leeds is the only contest involving Newcastle which has been affected by the announcement of the third set of fixture amendments of the new season so far.
Any further alterations to United’s 2021/21 Premier League schedule will be announced in due course.
