New date for Wear-Tyne derby
Newcastle United Under-23s' Premier League 2 fixture against Sunderland has a new date.
The young Magpies were due to face their Black Cats counterparts at the Academy of Light on Monday, 8th February but the Division Two meeting was postponed due to heavy snowfall.
United's second-string will now face Sunderland at the same venue on Monday, 8th March, with kick-off set at 1pm (GMT).
Newcastle's youngsters currently sit in 13th place of Premier League 2 Division Two on 13 points, eight adrift of the play-off spots.
