Matt And Grant Get Scotland Call

Written by Tom Easterby

Newcastle United duo Matt Ritchie and Grant Hanley have been named in the Scotland squad for their 2018 World Cup qualifier against England this month.

Gordon Strachan has included the Magpies pair in his 25-man squad for the Tartan Army's trip to Wembley on Friday, 11th November (7.45pm kick-off), with Group F points up for grabs.

Winger Ritchie, 27, will be hoping to pick up his 14 cap for his country against the Three Lions, who are currently under the temporary stewardship of Gareth Southgate.

And centre half Hanley will be aiming to add to his tally of 26 Scotland caps, as Strachan's men look for a victory which would put them level on points with England.
