Match officials confirmed for Swansea

Written by Dan King

Graham Scott will referee Saturday's Premier League fixture against Swansea City.

The Oxfordshire-based official joined the National List of referees in 2008 and was promoted to the Select Group in 2015.

He was the man in the middle when Newcastle won 2-0 at Cardiff City in their penultimate match of last season, as well as United's victory at Leeds, but it will be first time he's taken charge of a game involving the Magpies this term.

So far in the current campaign, he has refereed 16 games in all competitions, showing 36 yellow cards and one red.

On Saturday, he will be assisted by Peter Kirkup and Sian Massey-Ellis. Neil Swarbrick will be the fourth official.
