Magpies to meet Middlesbrough in behind-closed-doors friendly
Newcastle United will take on North East neighbours Middlesbrough in a behind-closed-doors pre-season friendly match next month.
The Magpies will travel to Boro's Rockliffe Park training ground on Tuesday, 1st September.
Kick-off is at 1pm (BST) but, due to the current pandemic and the Government guidelines around it, spectators will not be able to attend the match.
The two sides met at United's Benton training ground for a friendly in June, with Newcastle winning 3-2.
Steve Bruce's side have already confirmed behind-closed-doors games against Crewe Alexandra at their Yorkshire training camp on Tuesday, 25th August and against Barnsley at the Newcastle United Training Centre on Saturday, 29th August.
