Magpies to learn FA Cup third round opponents on Monday
The FA Cup third round draw will take place on Monday night – and Newcastle United will find out who they will face in their first outing in this season’s competition.
The draw will be shown live on BBC One at 7.30pm, and the Magpies will be ball number 27.
Third round ties are set to be played over the weekend of Saturday, 5th January 2019.
United were handed a home tie against Luton Town at the third round stage last term, beating the then-League Two side 3-1 before exiting the competition at the hands of Chelsea.
