Magpies to face Wolfsburg in August

Newcastle United will travel to Germany to face VfL Wolfsburg in August as they continue their preparations for the upcoming Premier League campaign.
The Magpies – who have already confirmed friendlies against Heart of Midlothian, Preston North End and Bradford City – will take on VfL Wolfsburg on Wednesday, 2nd August.
The game will take place at the AOK Stadion, the home of Wolfsburg’s development and women’s teams, and will kick-off at 4pm local time (CEST).
Supporters are advised not to arrange travel immediately, as there is likely to be another pre-season friendly in Germany announced in the coming days.
Ticket information – plus details of a home friendly on the first weekend in August – will be announced in due course.
