The PFA Vertu Motors Fans' Player of the Month award nominations for October have been announced, with Newcastle United's Miguel Almirón and Bruno Guimarães both up for the Premier League prize.
Almirón scored six goals, winning the FUN88 Player of the Month award and a place on the shortlist for the Premier League's EA Sports Player of the Month and Budweiser Goal of the Month awards.
Meanwhile, Guimarães' scintillating form has continued across October - he scored twice in the 5-1 win against Brentford, claimed two assists and has also been nominated for the Premier League's EA Sports Player of the Month award - with both players proving integral as the Magpies climbed into the top four.
Also shortlisted for the PFA Vertu Motors Fans' Player of the Month award are Manchester City duo Erling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne, Brighton's Leandro Trossard and Arsenal's Granit Xhaka.
