Magpies face Morpeth in Senior Cup semi-final
Newcastle United Under-23s will face Morpeth Town away from home in the semi-finals of the Techflow Marine Northumberland Senior Cup.
The young Magpies will continue their defence of the trophy against the Northern Premier League Division One outfit at Craik Park, having booked their place in the last four with an emphatic 7-2 win over Blyth Spartans in the quarter-finals earlier this month.
And now Ben Dawson’s side will travel to Morpeth for a repeat of last year’s final, which Newcastle won 3-1 to lift the trophy at St. James’ Park.
The tie will be played during the week commencing Saturday, 2nd March.
