Magpies confirm Preston friendly
Newcastle United will travel to Preston North End for a pre-season friendly on Saturday, 27th July, with kick-off at 3pm.
Following their participation in the Premier League Asia Trophy, it will be the Magpies’ first outing of the summer on British soil.
United then head to Hibernian on Tuesday, 30th July (7.45pm kick-off), before welcoming French side AS Saint-Étienne to St. James’ Park four days later.
Newcastle also met the Lilywhites for a pre-season encounter two years ago, drawing 1-1 at Deepdale ahead of their return to the Premier League.
