Loan watch: Saivet continues goal streak

Written by Luke Vinton

Henri Saivet grabbed his second goal in three matches as Bursaspor suffered a 3-2 loss in the Turkish Süper Lig on Sunday.

The central midfielder doubled the home side's advantage after former West Ham forward Diafra Sakho opened the scoring against Turkish league champions Galatasaray.

However, the Green Crocodiles - one point above the relegation zone - were unable to extend their lead from the bottom three, suffering a 3-2 defeat.

In the Championship, Dwight Gayle played the full 90 minutes and received a yellow card in West Brom's 1-0 victory at Brentford, while Jacob Murphy was an unused substitute for the play-off chasing Baggies.

Jack Colback was handed the captain's armband in Nottingham Forest's 1-1 draw at Ipswich Town but the Newcastle-born midfielder was also booked. Rolando Aarons played the full game in Sheffield Wednesday's 4-2 triumph against Blackburn Rovers, with five goals scored in the final 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, defender Josef Yarney featured for Chesterfield in their 2-1 victory at National League outfit Havant and Waterlooville, with the Spireites moving eight points clear of the relegation zone.

Following a postponement to Accrington Stanley's League One clash with Rochdale, due to a waterlogged pitch, Dan Barlaser and Liam Gibson did not take part for the Lancashire club on Saturday afternoon.
