Liverpool game sold out

Newcastle United's maximum allocation of 3,000 for their Premier League game at Liverpool in December is now sold out.

The Magpies drew at Anfield when they visited last season, back in April, and also held the Reds at St. James' Park in December 2020. They head to Merseyside this term on Thursday, 16th December for an 8pm (GMT) kick-off and seats initially went on sale to season ticket holders with 70 or more away points on Monday, 8th November.

The final few tickets sold out soon after being released to all season ticket holders at 10am on Friday, 26th November.

When attending the game all children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is over 18 years old. Any child attending the game without an accompanying adult will be refused entry.

Tickets marked 'restricted view' and 'severely restricted view' were discounted and include the following restrictions:

Row 1 - due to personnel movement
Rows 2-5 - caused by the wheelchair platform
Rows 34-35 - if supporters in front of these rows stand up then these rows will have a very limited view of the goals due to the overhang of the Upper Tier roof
Other rows - due to the stanchions supporting the Upper Tier, which impair the view of either goal

Please note, in purchasing a restricted/severely restricted view ticket, supporters are in acceptance of this; these tickets are strictly non-refundable whether before or after the game.

Rail seating

Due to persistent standing in certain areas of the stadium, Liverpool have installed seats with rails. These are a safety feature to reduce the risk from crowd collapse at times of excitement.

The installation is partially complete in the visitors' section, with several rows at the rear now complete. There are no restricted views caused by the installation and the council safety officers are overseeing the installation.

The viewing area is not designated as a safe standing area and supporters should remain seated for the majority of the match.

Covid-19 information

Liverpool have outlined new entry requirements following the UK government's Plan B announcement, which can be found here. Further supporter information can be found here

Tickets for future games can be bought online at book.nufc.co.uk or by calling 0344 372 1892.
