Latics Trophy clash date set
Newcastle United’s Checkatrade Trophy clash with Oldham Athletic will be played on Tuesday, 7th November, with kick-off set for 7.30pm.
Peter Beardsley and Ben Dawson will take a Magpies Under-21 side to the SportsDirect.com Park for their third and final Group D game in the revamped competition.
The game against the League One Latics will follow clashes away from home with League Two outfits Crewe Alexandra on Tuesday, 29th August and Port Vale on Tuesday, 3rd October.
