Newcastle United may not be in action this weekend, but there is still plenty of football being played across Tyneside and the North East as a whole.

It’s Non-League Day 2017 on Saturday, with supporters of clubs at the highest levels of the game encouraged to go along and check out a team plying their trade further down the pyramid.

Partnered by Prostate Cancer UK, Non-League Day has firmly established itself on the English football calendar since being founded in 2010, always scheduled to coincide with an international break.
