Gunners clash moved for TV
Written by Rory Mitchinson
Newcastle United’s Premier League clash at home to Arsenal will now take place on Sunday, 15th April at 1.30pm after being selected for television coverage by Sky Sports.
The game was originally meant to be played on Saturday, 14th April at 3pm. In the reverse fixture – contested at the Emirates Stadium in December – a fine Mesut Özil volley condemned the Magpies to a narrow defeat.
The dates for United’s other Premier League fixtures in April – trips to Leicester City on the 7th and Everton on the 21st, as well as the visit of Alan Pardew’s West Bromwich Albion on the 28th – remain unchanged.
